American actor and musician Awkwafina began her career with hilarious hip-hop tracks that addressed racial identity and sexuality with an incisive and humorous perspective, before broadening her reach to Hollywood. Nora Lum began her musical journey as a trumpet player. She was born in Forest Hills Queens, she was the child of Chinese immigrants as well as Korean immigrants. Alongside classical music and jazz, the young Nora started studying hip-hop when she was in her teens. After concentrating on education, she was awarded a degree in journalism in the college as well as a women's studies degree. She turned her attention to music once she graduated. Following her viral success on the Internet and her own track My Vag was a reaction to Mickey Avalon's My Dick. It eventually made its way onto her debut album Yellow Ranger. This album also featured songs that were viral such as body-positive Queef or the winking city tour the city of New York Bitche$. The second track linked into Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide, published in the year 2015, and was an additional project. A musician and author was on her resume she set her sights on a third endeavor actor. She's appeared in movies like Neighbors 2, Storks as well as Bad Rap. In the year 2018, she was offered a series of notable parts, including Dude Ocean 8 and Crazy Rich Asians. Her EP came out, in Fina We Trust in June of the year.
