Dennings was dating Nick Zano from 2011-2014, her co-star in "2 Broke Girls". The couple began to date Josh Groban shortly after they split up. They stayed together until the year 2016. Dennings began dating musician Andrew W.K. in 2021. Soon, the couple began getting together. They announced their commitment to one another in May 2021. Dennings has been a fan of music from 2014, is Dennings' first love. Although Dennings was Jewish and has stated that she is more a part of the faith on an ethnic and cultural level and is not a religious important part of her lifestyle. She has a variety of interests, such as gardening, painting and reading. At the beginning of her life the initial plan she had to go to the art institute was thwarted by a flooding that destroyed all of her art work. It was the flood that prompted her to begin acting.
