Dennings was dating Nick Zano from 2011-2014, she was her co-star on "2 Broke Girls". When their romance ended, she began dating Josh Groban. The two remained in a relationship up to 2016. In early 2021, Dennings met singer Andrew W.K. They soon began dating and declared their engagement in May of 2021. Dennings is a huge fan since 2014. Dennings admitted that even though she is Jewish and was raised to become an active member within the Jewish community at a social and ethnic level, religion doesn't play a significant part in her everyday life. She enjoys gardening, reading and painting. In her early years, her original plan to go to art school was foiled after a devastating flood destroyed the majority of her work.
